I decided to make this blog post about 21 facts about me (because I’m 21). All week I’ve been thinking about weird facts I’d want to share with those who care to know more about me. enjoy!

1- Im the middle child of two sisters. I’ve always enjoyed being the middle sister even though I have MASSIVE middle child syndrome. Its the best of both worlds!

2- I’m only 5’1. My dad is 6’4 my mom is 5’7 and so are both my sisters. I have no idea what happen to me..

3- I was born and raised in Miami but speak 0 Spanish. My mama is 14th generation American and my dad came to Miami from Cuba at 2 years old. I was raised wayyyy different than a lot of people in Miami. Conservative, reserved and passionate about our country. Its hard to explain. Ive never really done noche buena or any cuban traditions; if that helps you understand better. I do wish I learned more Spanish. Its a beautiful language.

4- Ive only been a Christian for about a year and a half. My best friends baptized me in the ocean while we watched the sun rise….magical…I know…Ive always known of God but never knew God. Now He’s the only thing I need. Funny, how He works.

5- Although I am an extrovert, I really love alone time. Reading, exercising, listening to music.

6- I can count some of the foods I don’t care for on one hand (maybe less). Ive always been the first one to try something new. Im not picky but I do tend to live a very healthy lifestyle so I don’t eat dairy and I try and reduce my gluten intake. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVEEEEE ice cream. Im just not a fan of fast food and boxed food…(except chick-fil-a) .

7- Im a lefty! #TeamLefty

8- I was a competitive swimmer for 10 years (jessie if you see this ily). The only sport I’ve ever fell in love with. The water, the self competing, the tan, never having to pay for highlights ya know, the good stuff.

9- I have a huge travel bug and I don’t travel enough. This needs to change. I’ve been really needing to get away, just for fun!

10- My favorite color is yellow. Because its the color of the sun and its HAAPPPYYYYY!!!

11- I have a huge fear of balloons and loud noises. Im extremely sensitive to loud noises. I get anxiety knowing that something is going to make a loud noise. Im working on this.

12- I am willing to live anywhere in the world as long as the ocean is near by. Seriously…North Carolina, California, OREGON, Australia, HAWAII. (dreams)

13- I love to surf but don’t do it often enough. Sad I know. Ive loved surfing and I use to go all the time. I need to stop making excuses. Anyone wanna go on a surf trip??

14- Water (ocean, pool) is really comforting to me and its really hard to explain. I should crazy but under the water is probably where I feel most peace. WEIRD I KNOW!

15- I went into college thinking I wanted to study marine bio. (I still do LOL). Ive always loved marine bio. Ive taken a few marine bio, oceanography classes in college. I love it but it just wasn’t realistic. Id love to be a teacher and start an ocean conservation club for elementary school kids.

16- I lived with my Dad for a year. Me and my 18 year old self and my Dad. That was the year I realized my Dad is my best friend.

17- I really enjoy reading. I don’t do it enough. I love to read but I enjoy taking time to read a book. I haven’t had time to read in so long. I think I’m gonna go find some books. Let me know of any that are a “must read” for you!!

18- I have a passion for supporting and mentoring high school girls in their walk with faith and walk through life through my testimony and in what Christ did for me AND for them!!  This has been a recent thing. I have just realized who I was in high school. I made so many mistakes. I was a different person… I want to guide girls in that time of their life. But I also really want to speak out to those, like myself, who feel like what they did will never be forgiven or they’ll never been good enough (something I’ve struggled with). I want them to know that they have a father who created them in His image and who absolutely adores them.

19- I absolutely love dancing. In the car, at a bar, in a house with a mouse lol. Im 100% that friend that is always dragging others to dance.

20- I have an emotional attachment to music. If you know, you know. Ya know?

21- I have firm belief in being real with people. Wether that physically or emotionally. I admire people who are transparent and open.  Its so rare now a days. People are so quick to judge. People are also so afraid of stepping on someones toes. Share whats on your heart. People appreciate that.
