Do you have that one friend that always brings your joy? That one person who makes you super, super happy and I’m not talking a significant other but I’m talking about someone you have a conversation with and you leave saying “dang that was a good conversation”. And then we have those friends who are always willing to listen. Whatever the circumstances may be they’re there to listen to you sob and sob till you’ve got booggers to your chin and you can hardly talk. We also have those friends who are bubbly and silly, who make you laugh till your abs hurt. Whats my point in all of this? My point it that I’m here to brag about the 5 FRIENDS God blessed me with. Each one of them incredibly different but each one of those hold the qualities above. 

It was at the beginning of this summer when we started our “summer sisterhood bible study”. I was nervous, I mean here I am expected to be transparent with 5 girls AND THEIR MOMS! I was so nervous but so excited. It was right after the first time we met together that I realized God was planting something amazing in my life. Later that summer these girls helped me accept the Lord and baptized me while the sun was coming up in the ocean. The rest of the summer was spend studying 2 Timothy and learning about all of the amazing things the gospel had to offer! It was absolutely amazing and so incredibly refreshing to meet up with my girl friends once a week to talk about our AWESOME God!

As school started our study came to an end but our relationship did not budge. Still, I continued to receive messages from our group chat asking for prayer when in need or even just sharing our thoughts every once in a while. Today we shared lunch and our hearts with each other and it made me realized the amount of support God had blessed me with. Being a woman is hard, being a christian woman isn’t any easier and being a christian woman living in Miami feels almost impossible but with the support of other girls who share these beliefs is something that only fuels the fire in my heart. 

So to my wonderful group of sisters, I hope you know how appreciated you are. I hope you know how much I look up to all of you. Your wisdom, your transparency, your constant love and support is always, always something I look forward to sharing with you. I know life can be hard and messy and confusing but I can also tell you how wonderful our God is and how awesome it is to have friends like you guys. Thank you for supporting me as a friend and truly as a sister of Christ. Thank you for cheering me on in my silly, goofy, corky way of life. Thank you for sharing your wise words with me and giving me a deeper understanding of Gods word. YOU CANT GET RID OF ME!!! Love you bunches!!!
