Late night thoughts

Late night thoughts: something I’m sure I’ll be doing a lot of. Lots of good good exciting things happening in my life!!! I just got a camera that records and takes pictures and so I’m supper excited to announce hopefully, by the grace of God I will get my first YouTube video up by next weekend. We are leaving on a cruise tomorrow afternoon and I couldn’t be happier but as I was packing my huge suitcase and picking up all my STUFF I realized something!💡we have so much STUUUFFFF!!!!! Material things! And I am a huge “lots of stuff gal” I decided to put down a couple things that make me happiest. Books, vinyls, candles, incense, my camera, my phone, my shoes, pictures, surfing, bikinis, GoPro, my cacti, I even put my boyfriend in there and then I realized something. None of those things, none of them will EVER come close to the love I have for God or the love He has for me. Sure I love these things with all my heart I do! But I sure do love the Lord far more then all of that. So after I did this I decided to go back to the word. (Something I’ve found myself doing more and more) flipping and searching, scrambling for some reason, I quickly flipped the back of my bible and looked up “material” and couldn’t find it so I went on to my bible app and searched material and came up with two verses that caught my eye. Luke 12:14-15 (Parable of the rich fool, I suggest you read the whole thing) and 1Timothy 6:17. I was going to type of what they said but I thought I’d have y’all look them up!!! They both go into such simple reasoning as to WHY we shouldn’t rely on material things and it all makes so much sense!!! Even in the parable He says “don’t rely on these things” but then goes back and tells you why you shouldn’t be worried about those things. ANYWAYS!!!!!! The whole point of this is sometimes we need to realize that material things aren’t the answer. In this blog, I’m going to talk about material things but I also want to emphasize on the fact that all of those things are not the answer. Take a moment to think about everything you have. Then take a moment to think about everything He’s given you. I promise your second list will be longer. It’s incredible to see what the lord blesses us with and even more incredible to see how we can use those things to fuel us in spreading the good news!!! Remember all the things we have are nothing compared to what the Lord has given us. HE DIED FOR US! I mean how much more do we need??!? Just thought I’d share some thoughts with you. P.s I will me on a cruise for the next 7 days and won’t be posting but make sure to stay posted for my upcoming video!!! Many blessings to you all!! Good night!
